Everything Must Go!!!
February 21st, 2008 by KClarke
Chicago Biofuels is on the move!! Starting March 1st we will no longer be operating out of our space at 1500 S. Western Ave. Don’t worry, Chicago Biofuels isn’t going anywhere, we just need to find a new home. Before we go, we wanted to invite everyone over one last time for a big fuel sale. We’d rather not move our current stock of biodiesel and filtered veggie oil if we don’t have to, so we’re offering it up to our members and the public next Saturday, February 23rd from 1pm to approx. 4pm. We’ll have Veggie Oil and Biodiesel ready to go in 5-gallon cube containers. There is a deposit of $3.50 on each plastic cube, but you get $3.00 credit upon return. You’re also welcome to bring your own container, but get there early, cause it’s first come, first served! Prices are $3.65/gallon for ASTM Spec Biodiesel and $1.50/gallon each for Filtered Vegetable Oil for CBF members. Non-members pay an additional $.25/gal for each. Temperatures are on the rise, so now is a great time to start integrating more biodiesel into your fueling regimen. As always, we will have bumper stickers and T-shirts available.
This Saturday will be a great time to meet other Chicago Biofuels members, or if you’re not already a member, this would be a great time to join! You’ll also be able to check out our Waste Vegetable Oil Filtration System and talk biodiesel with other enthusiasts. If you’re feeling really ambitious and want to help with our move, please respond to this email and we’ll put ya to work! We’re also looking for a new permanent space for Chicago Biofuels, so if you have any leads, please let us know! As always, feel free to respond to this email with any questions or comments!
See you Saturday!
Your Friends at Chicago Biofuels,
PS. For fuel purchasing, the easiest thing to do is come to the North West loading dock of the Midland building. It’s just west of Western on 15th St. We should be at the second loading dock from western ave. Check the google maps here . If you have problems finding it, give Pete a call at 312-388-4365
