Just a reminder…CBF members and friends are meeting at Joey’s Brickhouse on Belmont this Tuesday Dec. 18th. We’ll be there anytime after 6pm. It’s 15 all you can drink beer and all you can eat pizza (good pizza made to order!!) Joey and Greg have promised to take special care of all CBF supporters (I think they’re makin’ smores!) If you don’t want to get ALL your gifts from the Chicago Biofuels merchandise page, then you can still support us in your holiday shopping. If you shop online please use Goodsearch to look for gifts and Goodshop to make your purchases. When you select Chicago Biofuels as your non-profit of choice, a portion of each internet search or online purchase goes to Chicago Biofuels…and this can really add up. We’ve made around $20 so far from Goodsearch alone!! (When you Goodshop, be sure to click on the blue donation line under each store icon…if you just click on the icon you go to their page and bypass the donation portion…sneaky huh!!)

And don’t forget to join us for our December Meeting/Holiday Party at Joey’s Brickhouse on Belmont in Chicago. We’re getting together on Tuesday Dec. 18th to celebrate our successes, discuss our future and drink some beer!! They’ll be a special deal that night for all Chicago Biofuels Members (and non-member supporters). You’ll get all the Pizza, Beer, and Rice Krispie Treats you can handle for 15 bucks and you get to hang out with other Biofuels supporters in Chicago. Special thanks to Joey’s Brickhouse for hosting us and for letting us collect their beautiful grease for the past few weeks!!

Hello…we are currently working on a new website. Stay tuned!!

Hey Everybody,
It’s time for our next public meeting! On Saturday Sept. 15th we will meet in the parking lot behind 1500 S. Western Ave. from Noon until 4ish for a day of fun, food and biofuels!! Bring your diesel, food to grill, beverages (adult or otherwise) and your friends to what we hope will be our biggest meeting to date!! We will have fuel available for sale and you can sign up to be a member if you’re not already. We will have some demos about the process of converting your diesel to a WVO Grease Machine and have several converted cars on display. So if you’ve been dying to show off your sweet ride, here’s your chance. We will also be signing up volunteers to help grow Chicago Biofuels, so if you’ve got some time to donate we want to talk to you!! Hey Everybody,

Just a quick not to let you know that we will be having another fueling day tomorrow at 1500 S. Western. Same place as last time, turn west onto 15th place off of Western, go to first loading dock and turn left. Fueling time is from 11-2 and it’s $3.50 for members and $4.00 for the general public. This is astm spec B100 so all taxes are prepaid and included in the cost. If anyone would like to get filtered vegetable oil, please contact me so we can have some ready to go. As always, feel free to contact us with any questions!
